Some background...

Our very dear and special friend, Teresa was diagnosed with bladder cancer and so in her own courageous and gracious way, Teresa is now living with cancer and all that means.

Being such an amazing woman, Teresa does not dwell on how tough her life has become, and how the lives of those closest to her have changed beyond all recognition. Instead, Teresa made a choice to face the situation head on and to work on raising awareness of bladder cancer and also to raise as much money as possible for the amazing ‘Fight Bladder Cancer’ charity.

Such incredible bravery is humbling to see, and we only have total love and admiration for Teresa, and we are compelled to do something to support Teresa and help her mighty cause.

So, a challenging 100 miles bike ride, in one day, is our way of making a contribution and so please help us to raise our target of £1,000 for 100 miles!

Who are Team Early Doors ?

We are dear friends of Teresa and her family and so this is a team effort of those doing the cycling and those who are providing support, both in preparation and on the day.

For those who know us, you will know this is not something we have ever done before, and how much of a challenge it will be.

For those who don’t know us, the cyclists are just a couple of blokes with modest bikes and equipment, who have never done anything close to 100 miles before now.

In the saddle on the day are Nick and Ed who are covering the 100 miles, and James (who will join us for certain stages) and the support team include Carol, Hannah, Aimee with baby Rosie, Jules & Jenny….. Yes, we really do need lots of support!

In case you don’t know, Nick is the ‘old guy’ and Ed & James are the ‘young guys’ and so all the more reason to be rooting for Nick on the day!

When are we doing it?

The date is: Saturday 30th July 2022

The route will take us from Poole, Christchurch, around the New Forest, to Cranbourne and Wimborne Minster and back to Poole – totalling 100 miles!
